Operations Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team.

As an Operations Assistant, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to customers.

You will work in a supportive environment that values safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Filling cylinders with products in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures
  • Conducting quality control on filled cylinders
  • Preparing cylinders for filling through pre-fill inspections
  • General cylinder maintenance - Paint, label and barcode cylinders
  • Palletising cylinders for transport, operate forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Conducting stocktakes as required
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • General manual handling
  • Maintaining good housekeeping practices and safety standards, and ensuring all safety risks, hazards or incidents are identified and reported
Requirements:
  • A forklift license with experience in warehouse/distribution for at least 6 months
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods (DG) is advantageous
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks with lifting and loading involved
  • Commitment to working safely, being accountable, acting ethically, and treating everyone with respect
  • Technical skills like computer knowledge and RF scanning would be beneficial
