About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Green Leaves Early Learning. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the professional development and practice of our ECTs.

As a mentor, you will work closely with our National Learning Research and Development Partner (NLRDP) to co-research, create, and develop innovative learning and teaching practices. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other ECTs across our organisation, participate in practical professional development opportunities, and access regular mentoring and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a comprehensive transition to school/school-readiness program for our Kindergarten children
  • Manage your classroom and mentor educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation
  • Ensure the room is immaculately presented as a welcoming and safe environment
  • Mentor other teachers and educators as part of our leadership team
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Hold or studying towards an ACECQA-approved teaching qualification
  • Current SA Teachers Registration or Special Authority to Teach
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current Child Protection Training
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates or willingness to obtain one
