Automotive Service Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department, including managing and motivating a team of skilled technicians and advisors, developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, and monitoring and improving service department efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of service technicians and advisors to deliver outstanding customer service
- Develop and implement initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Monitor and improve service department performance and efficiency
- Manage Work In Progress and warranty bookings and claims
- Provide regular management reports on the service department
- Ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records of service transactions and customer interactions
- Handle customer escalations professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Service Manager or similar role within the automotive industry
- Demonstrated track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A passion for cars and automotive technology
- An understanding of dealership operations and processes
- A high level of attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
