At Queensland Health, our clinical teams work collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient care. As an expert thoracic medicine care specialist, you will be a vital part of this team, working closely with patients and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical knowledge and care to patients with various conditions related to thoracic medicine, adhering to relevant standards and legislation.
- Support and guide Registered Nurses and non-registered nursing staff in complex situations, ensuring effective collaboration and communication within the multidisciplinary team.
- Apply advanced clinical nursing skills to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care, maintaining current knowledge and competence within the scope of practice.
- Meet responsibilities outlined in Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6 Band 1.
