About the Opportunity

KBR is a leading infrastructure company that delivers high-quality projects across Australia. We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Adelaide, working on a wide range of civil infrastructure projects, including defence and transport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage engineering design teams to deliver project design outcomes and scope
  • Undertake civil engineering design, calculations, and technical reports/specifications
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to manage and deliver engineering projects to specified and relevant standards
  • Plan engineering tasks and execute through concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases
  • Liaise directly with the Project Manager, Design Manager, and Client to provide regular project updates and prepare technically sound and well-written proposals and reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • CPEng preferred
  • Experience working within an engineering consulting environment
  • Experience working in a broad range of infrastructure projects within a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Previous experience in Civil Infrastructure for projects in one or more of the defence, building civil, and transport sectors is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and design guidelines to the civil engineering discipline
  • The ability to obtain chartership within a reasonable agreed time frame
