About the Role

The Specialist Clinic Receptionist is responsible for providing an effective and efficient reception service to contribute to the achievement of business objectives, including increased patient numbers and attendance rates.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing a professional reception service ensuring adequate cover before leaving the area.
  • Meting and greeting clients and visitors to the clinic.
  • Answering telephone calls promptly taking messages.
  • Attending to general enquiries escalating as appropriate.
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Providing client services to all accessing the clinic including allied health and specialist services.
  • Prioritising patients when necessary screening urgent phone calls referring to relevant clinicians as required.
About You
  • You will have demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise workload with high attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working with electronic Patient Management System is highly regarded.
  • You will hold current Class Drivers Licence (QLD) and current Criminal History Check.
  • A Current Working with Children Check Blue Card and Current CPR First Aid Certificate are also essential.
