">About the Role">

The Community Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and growing our community fundraising program, including peer-to-peer campaigns, third-party events, DIY fundraisers, and supporter-led initiatives. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing innovative strategies to increase fundraising revenue and engage our supporters more effectively.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop proposals for new fundraising initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and other key stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional support and guidance to community fundraisers, ensuring they have the resources and tools needed to succeed
  • Manage online fundraising platforms, including set up and management of fundraising pages and campaigns
  • Track performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in fundraising, preferably within a not-for-profit or community-based organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in events, marketing, or supporter engagement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building strong relationships
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Experience using peer-to-peer fundraising platforms
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
