Visual Merchandising Area Manager

The Role

This role partners with the VM Creative team and Retail Regional Manager to implement visual merchandising strategies within NSW and ACT, ensuring successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of product collections, briefs, and the overall brand strategy for alignment across stores.
  • Evaluate store layouts to reflect brand identity while maximising space and enhancing customer experience.
  • Work closely with the Retail Regional Manager to prioritise store visits based on VM needs and strategic focus.
  • Provide coaching and development to store teams, focusing on the art of science of visual merchandising and empowering Store Managers to execute VM requirements.
  • Track and monitor the execution status of store VM roll-outs for timely, accurate, and safe completion.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and optimise the VM process, improving both the instore team member experience and the customer journey.
  • Implement and adhere to WHS policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in analysing product performance data and applying it to VM strategies.
  • Previous experience coaching and developing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams and Store Managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process optimisation and efficiency.
