Job Overview

As a Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will lead our nuclear medicine department and operationally manage clinical services across a multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will have experience in delivering advanced level general nuclear medicine, PET/CT, Theranostics, diagnostic CT, and demonstrate clinical leadership within a comprehensive nuclear medicine department.

You will be responsible for supervising the in-house compounding of nuclear medicine, PET, and therapy radiopharmaceuticals, as well as collaborating with other members of staff and working as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operational management of nuclear medicine clinical services
  • Leadership of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical Radiation Science (Nuclear Medicine)
  • Full AHPRA Registration with no imposed conditions or limitations
  • Full QLD Radiation Use Licence
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional patient care/customer service experience
  • The ability to deliver quality work and remain calm under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy and sharp attention to detail
  • Professional personal presentation
