Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ecological Consultant Leader to manage our QLD team. This position offers a wide range of opportunities, including work on major infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Main Responsibilities

- Oversee projects and provide expert advice to clients and internal staff.
- Drive ecological standards and mentor staff in the biodiversity team.
- Work on large scale renewable energy and infrastructure developments as well as smaller niche projects.
- Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to influence the biodiversity team.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field.
- Proven experience in flora and/or fauna identification.
- Knowledge of state and Commonwealth environmental legislation and policy.
- Expertise with GIS and excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
