Role Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to manage client projects and supervise junior team members in our Sydney-based Financial Services Risk Management team.

About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work with clients across various sectors, helping them to enhance their risk management capabilities.

  • Deliver Client Projects: Manage end-to-end components of client projects, including production of deliverables and client management.
  • Assess Client Risks: Evaluate client financial and non-financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, and operational risks.
  • Provide Regulatory Advice: Advise clients on regulatory requirements and compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial services consulting firm or major financial institution, focusing on one or more of the following areas:
    • Risk culture, conduct, and compliance
    • Regulatory reporting
    • Financial crime prevention
    • Operational risk management – general or in a technical area such as AI, data, technology, and records risk
    • Regulation and prudential supervision (including experience working with regulators)
  • Experience supervising consultants
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
