About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Recreation Venues Manager to lead and manage our recreation venues, shaping and enhancing our communities for today and tomorrow.

The successful candidate will oversee the operations of multiple community-focused recreation venues, managed by Council and specialist contract partners. This role is integral to our leadership team and requires strategic and operational leadership skills, financial management expertise, and exceptional communication abilities.

  • Lead the development and implementation of service and business planning activities.
  • Manage operating budgets with a focus on financial performance and accountability.
  • Provide expert advice on infrastructure and asset management planning.
  • Implement safety and risk management frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
