This exciting opportunity will challenge you to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, provide technical advice, and ensure that underwriting standards are applied effectively.

You will have the autonomy to adapt to new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key advisers
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to clients
  • Evaluate complex cases and make informed decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in underwriting and risk management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • ANZIIF and ALUCA CPLI certifications desirable
