Traffic Control Operations Coordinator

Hours: 38 hours per week
Location: Tamworth, NSW
We are seeking a skilled Scheduler to play a key role in rostering teams for the provision of traffic control services for our clients, coordinating fleet and ensuring efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Rostering of staff and vehicles
- Scheduling high volume traffic control services
- Maximisation of fleet and equipment utilisation
- Organise vehicle maintenance schedule
- Assist with drug and alcohol testing if suitably qualified
- Accommodation booking
- Monitor, allocate and control PPE
- Answering calls and helping with service enquiries
- After hours on call phone
- Ensure client schedules are filled
- Ensure continuality of client service is maintained
- Reporting safety concerns to planner and management
- Communication of SWMS, TMP and TGSs to team
- Assist with recruitment and induction of new staff
- Tracking staff qualifications to ensure compliance
- Updating database with client and employee details and notes
- General administration duties
- Other duties as directed by the company
- 1+ years' administrative and rostering experience
- Experience in Traffic Control and/or Recruitment industry would be highly advantageous
- Strong computer and administrative skills
- Ability to stay calm and maintain professionalism in a high-pressure environment
- Passion for working with people
- Confident telephone manner
- Determination to succeed

- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
- Sound communication skills
