Engine Mechanic Role

Job Summary

As an engine mechanic, you will be responsible for completing repairs and maintenance on engine products in a workshop setting. You will work under supervision to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

  • Apply documented procedures to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components.
  • Assist with completion of required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Evaluate health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Report any issues/incidents to your supervisor.
