Job Description

The SAP Production Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of production and process improvement initiatives
  • Oversee Bill of Materials (BOM) management to ensure accuracy and alignment with production requirements
  • Coordinate change management activities to support high-quality, efficient implementation strategies
  • Apply modern manufacturing methodologies to enable successful large-scale facility expansions
  • Advise on and implement best practices for production sequencing and SAP-based manufacturing management
  • Prepare and maintain detailed production and manufacturing documentation
  • Manage and deliver complex projects within defined budget and timeline constraints
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and drive implementation of approved enhancements
  • Analyze production workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to improve throughput
The Successful Applicant

A Successful SAP Production Engineer Has The Following Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in either Heavy or Automotive manufacturing industries
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Mechanical, electrical, Process, Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain or already has an Australian Defence Security Clearance
  • Proficient in SAP
  • BOM management in structuring, routing, and releasing manufacturing
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing engineering and production BOMs and Production routing using SAP
