About Life-Giving Donations

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in making life-changing donations. As a key member of our organization, you will be working closely with generous donors to ensure Australia's supply of blood products.

The Role:

  • You will greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility for donation.
  • As part of our clinical team, you will provide oversight and guidance to other team members during blood collection processes.
  • You will conduct routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests, set up machines, and safely insert and remove needles for blood collection.
  • In the event of adverse donor reactions, you will manage and assist as needed.
  • You will also monitor donors post-donation and assist with rebooking appointments.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent customer-facing skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoons.
  • A reliable vehicle and driver's license (if applicable).
