The role of a Senior Security Professional

  • Leads the development and implementation of security strategies to safeguard against cyber threats.
Job Requirements:

To excel in this position, you must possess a strong understanding of security event monitoring platforms, cloud-based edge security tools, and robust troubleshooting skills across complex distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serves as a senior technical leader helping shape detection strategy, incident response, and engineering security capabilities.
  2. Expertise in security engineering with a focus on detection, incident response, and tool administration.
  3. Hands-on experience with leading SIEM platforms such as Splunk (designing queries, dashboards, alerts, data pipelines).
  4. Deep comprehension of cloud-delivered edge security solutions including web application protection, DNS management, and access control technologies.
  5. Proficient in cloud-based edge security and traffic management platforms including troubleshooting issues related to web application firewalls, DNS, and performance routing.
  6. Ability to diagnose and resolve critical issues in edge security services and oversee a team responsible for maintaining and supporting those systems.

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in security engineering combined with experience in cloud-based edge security is essential for this role.
