School Leadership Team Member

St Brigid's Primary School is seeking a dynamic and experienced school leader to join their team. As an Assistant Principal, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant school community with parental involvement.
Position OverviewThe successful applicant will have a proven track record of teaching practice that models quality pedagogy and comprehensive knowledge of current educational theories. They will also have a successful administrative experience, with a strong understanding of accountability and meeting deadlines.
About the Role- Demonstrate a successful record of teaching practice that models quality pedagogy and have comprehensive knowledge of current educational theories;
- Be highly organised and demonstrate a successful record of administrative experience, with an understanding of accountability and meeting of deadlines;
- Have an understanding of industry accountability standards and processes - EYLF, NQS, QIP, as well as experience in implementing the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and the Australian Teacher Performance and Development Framework;
- Lead Sacramental Programmes and work collaboratively with Parish Priest and Parish Coordinator;
- Organise school liturgies in collaboration with staff, students and the parish priest;
- Experience in implementing the WA Curriculum and use of the SCSA judging standards across the key learning areas;
- Support the Principal competently in the four domains of leadership in a Catholic School: Learning, Engagement, Accountability, Discipleship;
- Analyse and use student data to lead staff in raising student levels of achievement, drive future focus and guide school improvement processes;
- Develop positive relationships with all stakeholders and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Witness to their faith and previous experience in taking a leading role in the religious dimension of the school community, including co-ordinating Sacramental Programs;
- Possess a high level of initiative, innovation and the ability to work as part of a collaborative and dynamic leadership team.
Catholic Education Western Australia offers a competitive salary package, including a salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per year, depending on experience. The school also provides opportunities for professional development and growth within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Selection Criteria- Accreditation to Lead, or working toward this requirement;
- An active member of the Catholic Church (Parish Priest reference required);
- Relevant four-year tertiary qualification; and
- A minimum of seven years education experience.
