About the Role

Clinical social workers at our health service work across a diverse range of areas, including acute, sub-acute and community-based programs. They require strong clinical knowledge and skills to work effectively in a healthcare setting.

The successful candidate will have an awareness and understanding of the healthcare environment and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Some roles may involve working on a 7-day week roster, while others will operate Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychosocial assessments involving patients, families and relevant agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with treating teams to provide consultation and support.
  • Develop and implement clinical interventions to meet the needs of clients and their families.
  • Refer patients to appropriate departments or external agencies as required.
  • Maintain accurate records as per organizational and statutory requirements.
