Role Overview

This position is responsible for driving quality and safety initiatives within our organization.

You will work closely with our leadership team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care outside traditional hospital settings. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Safety and Quality Systems: Implementing systems and processes to ensure patient safety and quality of care;
  • Clinical Incident Management: Managing clinical incidents and complaints, coordinating investigations and implementing recommended actions;
  • Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement activities and projects to enhance quality and safety;
  • Service Delivery Support: Supporting service delivery teams in responding to audit findings and preparing for accreditation assessments;
  • Customer Engagement: Engaging customers in their care and participating in co-design activities;
  • Performance Data Analysis: Providing performance data, analysis, and relevant reports related to quality and safety.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A customer-focused approach with operational excellence and compelling communication skills;
  • Strong written and verbal skills, detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up, and effective problem-solving skills;
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional with unrestricted AHPRA Registration;
  • Experience in acute healthcare and/or out of hospital programs;
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Quality Improvement, Risk Management, and accreditation processes.
