Job Title: Sr. Structures Analyst

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge structural analysis tools to support the company's innovative projects.

The Sr. Structures Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth structural analysis, including finite element modeling and hand calculations, to ensure the reliability and safety of our systems. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to develop load paths and perform preliminary sizing of structures using metallic and composite materials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis, with experience working with commercial FEA or multi-physics simulation packages. A master's degree or PhD in an engineering, math, or physics discipline is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural analysis tools and methodologies
  • Conduct finite element modeling and hand calculations to analyze structural systems
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop load paths and perform preliminary sizing of structures
  • Perform peer review of models, analysis, and tests
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in structural analysis
  • Master's degree or PhD in an engineering, math, or physics discipline
  • Proficiency with commercial FEA or multi-physics simulation packages
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with finite element analysis software (ABAQUS, ANSYS, NASTRAN)
  • Advanced proficiency with pre/post-processors (ABAQUS/CAE, ANSA/META, ANSYS)
  • Familiarity with material, geometric, and contact nonlinear analyses
