This role presents an opportunity to lead the design and delivery of major water infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership and strategic execution to ensure successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, with a minimum of 10 years' professional engineering experience.
- Direct experience in design and delivery of civil construction contracts exceeding $30M.
- Unrestricted Drivers Licence for a motor vehicle.
- Significant experience in engineering design, review and development of technical documents for water infrastructure and networks projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing engineering leadership and design advice across planning, construction, maintenance, and operations of major water infrastructure projects.
- Managing design consultants and overseeing the development of technical documentation for procurement and delivery.
- Implementing engineering standards and frameworks, and conducting regular reviews of systems, schedules, and consultant performance.
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and to required quality standards.
