About Our Project Management Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in a key project leadership position. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of water projects that meet client expectations and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, with experience working on water infrastructure projects. You will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Key responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, monitoring timelines and budgets, and delivering project outcomes. You will also provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders, and prepare and monitor project safety plans to ensure a safe working environment.

In this role, you will drive process improvements and streamline workflows to optimise project outcomes. You will identify and mitigate risks, conduct project meetings with stakeholders, and assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or a related discipline.
  • Up to 5 years' experience as a Project Manager or an Engineer aspiring to become a Project Manager.
  • Previous experience working within a consultancy will be highly regarded.
  • Experience engaging with clients in any one or more of the following: Government, Water, Environment, major construction and infrastructure projects.

You will have a broad appreciation and exposure working on water infrastructure projects, including water and sewerage networks, water and wastewater treatment plants, water resources, dams, and hydropower. You will have a strong commitment to safety and understanding of WHS best practice and obligations.
