Senior Quality Consultant

A top-performing professional is required to oversee operational standards across early childhood services. This role focuses on assessing quality, compliance, processes, and business management while providing guidance and coaching to improve performance and strengthen key areas.

About the Role:
  • Conduct thorough quality assessments across services, ensuring alignment with national quality standards and balanced scorecard requirements.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational performance and meet national quality framework objectives.
  • Utilize reporting tools to evaluate quality outcomes and deliver data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and support training needs for centre managers and service teams to bridge skill gaps.
  • Nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate leadership skills through coaching and mentoring to drive growth and excellence in team members.
  • Stay current with sector trends in leadership, coaching, and mentoring to remain an expert in the field.
  • Represent the organization as a guest speaker at Centre Manager meetings when required to promote best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication and contribute to process enhancements to optimize quality outcomes.
  • Support policy and procedural improvements to elevate quality performance.
  • Plan and schedule assessments, audits, and coaching sessions to facilitate team development and growth.
  • Participate in team, state, and national meetings, including conferences, to stay informed and share expertise.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to drive quality and compliance initiatives that yield positive results.
  • Promote industry-leading best practices in early childhood education, business performance, and team development.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, including codes of conduct and professional standards.
  • Emit commitment to ongoing learning and professional development opportunities to maintain exceptional performance.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in internal auditing, coaching, and assessment.
  • Strong understanding of ACECQA requirements and compliance standards.
  • Current Working with Children Check and Driver's Licence.
  • Qualifications in ISO auditing, management, or training & assessment are desirable.
  • Experience as a Centre Manager or in a field assessor role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with childcare software such as Storypark Manage and CCMS is beneficial.
