Sales and Marketing Professional Sought for Key Regional Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Professional to join our Mid North Coast regional team as a Strategic Business Growth Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with other business development specialists to drive business growth and improve economic conditions in the region.

As a Strategic Business Growth Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing targeted sales strategies to grow our premium membership base.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through partnerships with regional businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Creating and delivering high-quality marketing materials, proposals, and pitches to showcase the value of Business NSW membership and secure new sales.
  • Nurturing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to drive revenue growth and increase member engagement.
  • Collaborating with our regional director and team to develop and implement targeted advocacy and policy initiatives that support member businesses.

About you

You are an experienced sales and marketing professional with a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic partnerships and exceptional customer service. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable working independently or as part of a team to achieve goals.

You will have a strong understanding of the needs of regional businesses and a passion for promoting economic development and growth in the area. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our members, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Other key requirements of the role:

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and digital platforms for tracking and managing member activity.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to meet with members and stakeholders.
