The Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Terminology Implementation Specialist to join the Health Data Semantics and Interoperability Group. This role will play a key part in driving the adoption of standard clinical terminologies across Australia's healthcare system.
As a Clinical Terminology Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of implementation plans, providing high-quality support and education to users, and managing relationships with stakeholders. You will also oversee outreach and education initiatives to ensure effective uptake of SNOMED CT and AMT.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver strategic implementation plans for the National Clinical Terminology Service (NCTS)
- Provide high-quality support, education, and training to NCTS users
- Collaborate with internal teams and the Australian Digital Health Agency to identify and address emerging implementation needs
- Analyse support trends to inform improvements in outreach, adoption, and education activities
- Create and maintain user-facing documentation, including training materials, guides, and reports
- Relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in medical and/or digital healthcare domain
- Understanding of data standards and clinical terminology implementations in Australia
- Experience in stakeholder management, consultation, and facilitation of user groups
- Proven negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver against contract obligations and client expectations
