Aboriginal Case Manager - Pathways to Safety and Support

We are seeking an Aboriginal Case Manager to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a key member of our Pathways Team, you will work collaboratively with clients, their families, and community agencies to provide culturally appropriate support and services.

Job Description
  • Provide case management services to Aboriginal children, young people, and families affected by problematic and harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB).
  • Work closely with government departments, schools, health services, and community agencies to deliver integrated services and support.
  • Develop, implement, and review safety and support plans that address both strengths and areas of risk using a cultural safe lens.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop strategies for providing effective support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field.
  • Experience working respectfully with Aboriginal communities and other diverse groups.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting Aboriginal communities, families, and children.
  • Strong understanding of PHSB in children and young people, including associated risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting children, young people, and families in child protection or similar settings.
