Infrastructure Investment Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Investment Manager to support the growth of our infrastructure investment advisory services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality investment advice to clients across various markets, including transport, water, resources, energy, and the built environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure investment advisory, with experience in due diligence, business case development, and financial modeling. They will also possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound strategic recommendations.

As an Infrastructure Investment Manager, you will work closely with internal teams to combine our design, engineering, and advisory capabilities to deliver seamless client experiences. You will also attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand your professional network, share knowledge, and stay informed about infrastructure investment trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of potential infrastructure investment opportunities, assessing viability via business case frameworks, investment logic mapping, and feasibility studies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions, identifying potential risks and opportunities for clients and their portfolios.
  • Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate investment scenarios, considering factors such as cash flow, return on investment, and project timelines.
  • Perform thorough due diligence on prospective infrastructure investments, including reviewing asset management, maintenance approaches, and capital expenditures, to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understand their business and assets, and provide guidance and updates as the markets in which our clients operate evolve.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in infrastructure investment advisory, with experience in due diligence, business case development, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound strategic recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Engineering, Project Management, Business commerce/Economics, Mathematics, or similar.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in areas similar to the work of our infrastructure investment advisory capabilities.
