Job Opportunity

Deliver high standards of expertise in all aspects of swimming pool maintenance with water quality management. Daily balancing of all pools at Sea World and Sea World Resort, including 2 hourly water testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a solid understanding of pool chemical operational parameters or standards and ensure a safe swimming environment.
  • Operate, maintain and adjust automated chemical metering and chemical dosing equipment to an operator's level.
  • Manage stock levels of pool chemicals and associated equipment ensuring hazardous chemicals, handling equipment and mechanical components are stored and managed safely.
  • Perform daily maintenance of filtration systems, lint strainers, chemical and centrifugal pumps.

Requirements:
  • Manual driver's license essential.
  • Pool plant operator certificate advantageous.
  • A Forklift license advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with water filtration plants and small pump maintenance beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of UV systems.
  • Basic understanding of water hydraulics.
  • Availability to work between the hours of 5am to 10pm, including weekends and rotate shifts when required.
