Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis at one of our hospitals. The successful candidate will work across a diverse range of inpatient rehabilitation cases and provide exceptional patient care.

  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our patients
  • Care for individuals with various medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning, and geriatric conditions
  • Conduct home visits and provide acute inpatient care, ensuring seamless continuity of service
About the Role

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing premium occupational therapy services to patients. This will involve:

  • Evaluating patients' physical and emotional needs to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Designing and implementing evidence-based interventions to optimize patient outcomes
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take control of their recovery

About You

  • At least 1-year acute hospital experience in a similar capacity
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate autonomy in decision-making
