The Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Carer to join our Aboriginal Home Health family in a rewarding career caring for our Mob and delivering an essential service for our Elders in our communities. As a Carer, you will have the opportunity to work with our clients in a variety of settings, providing domestic assistance, social support, and personal care duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation
  • Social support such as accompanying our clients to their doctor appointments, shopping & social outings
  • Perform Personal Care duties including showering, feeding and toileting; assist in oral medication

Requirements:

  • A compassionate, empathetic, respectful Carer
  • Has a reliable car and Australian Driver Licence
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 Doses)
  • Minimum 12 months Experience required
