The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) is seeking two fixed-term full-time Physiotherapists to join our Physiotherapy Department for a 12-month graduate year program. This exciting opportunity is part of our Paediatric Rotation Program (PRP), which offers new graduate physiotherapists the chance to develop their skills and experience across a wide range of clinical specialties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy services to patients referred by designated units in collaboration with supervising clinicians.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure delivery of a holistic, streamlined approach to care that best meets the needs of the patient and their family.
- Work in a flexible manner and participate in other duties as allocated, consistent with skill level to ensure adequate cover and clinical care across the whole Physiotherapy Department service.
- Achieving and maintaining competency in relevant skills in line with departmental requirements relevant to the role.
- Hold a Physiotherapy degree qualification from an accredited course/university and registration to practice as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
- New graduates should have successfully completed placements in large hospitals with high acuity caseloads.
