Oral Health Support Assistant

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality clinical support and administrative assistance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

As an Oral Health Support Assistant, you will play a vital part in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Your day-to-day tasks will involve supporting dentists during procedures, undertaking administrative duties such as booking appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing chair-side assistance to dentists during dental procedures.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as booking appointments, recalling patients, and updating patient records.
  • Maintaining the optimal hygiene of the surgery and implementing infection control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognized equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years (full-time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years.
  • Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
