About the Role

  • Assume responsibility for the management and profitability of multiple complex large-scale projects, including pricing, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling, monitoring progress, resourcing, meeting deadlines, and budgets.
  • Develop, manage, and train staff, including recruitment, selection, and remuneration.
  • Manage the technical and contractual aspects of projects to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, TTW policies, and procedures.
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to devise and deliver practical and economical solutions to complex problems.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, establish a client database, and guide colleagues on best practice and share technical expertise within TTW.
  • Lead and effectively manage staff by modelling and driving a positive, one TTW culture.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Architecture or equivalent.
  • Membership with Engineers Australia and CPEng.
  • Minimum ten years' experience in engineering design in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to scheme up major projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Excellent understanding of BCA requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Demonstrated project management skills to deliver on time, on budget, and to client requirements.
  • Strong business acumen.
