We are seeking an exceptional Aviation Structures Engineer to join our Special Purpose Aircraft team at Northrop Grumman. With a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services and solutions, we have built a reputation as the go-to partner for Defence and industry alike.

As an Aviation Structures Engineer, you will be part of our team that provides Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force's 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. Our team of approximately 50 staff deliver all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ's and three Dassault Falcon 7X's Business Jets.

About the Role
  • You will provide Aerospace related design, analysis and other technical support services to ensure aircraft availability.
  • Process technical information, repair and modification designs to meet aircraft needs.
  • Mentor staff and help establish standardised process and analysis methods.
  • Develop compliance assessment reports for repairs and modifications.
About You
  • You should be a qualified engineer in an aviation-related discipline with demonstrated experience in the aviation industry.
  • Have experience using document/configuration management and project management tools.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standards framework and DASR Part 21J is highly desirable.
