Dental Therapist/ Oral Health Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Dental Therapists/ Oral Health Therapists to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities. This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

  • Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered by our organization.
  • Cultural orientation and 24/7 support to help you transition into remote healthcare.
  • Free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality dental therapy services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.
  • Work collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with local health services and community organizations.
