STEM Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Engineering People Development business unit as a STEM Outreach Educator.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to develop and deliver programs across various engineering disciplines, enhancing community engagement and building a diverse pipeline of STEM talent.

As a STEM Outreach Educator, you will support the delivery of our STEM Education and Skills Strategies, working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and agree on an overall STEM Plan as part of the Education and Skills strategy.
  • Contribute to the STEM outreach strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate the development of STEM content and learning materials for events, including Work Experience Programs.
  • Plan and deliver onsite STEM Work Experience Programs nationwide.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Events Co-ordination, Training, Education or STEM.
  • Experience co-ordinating work experience and/or training activities and events.
  • Well-developed self-management skills and ability to work under own initiative.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and manage volunteers and site coordinators.
