Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Technician to join our Technical Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sampling and testing high-specification concrete products.

You will also be involved in casting cylinders, generating reports on test results, and maintaining laboratory equipment. In addition, you will be required to interpret and analyze statistics, develop growth charts for concrete strength maturity, and follow inspection and test plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sampling of concrete raw materials on project sites
  • Slump testing of concrete
  • Casting of cylinders
  • Generating reports on test results
  • Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Interpretation and analysis of statistics
  • Development of growth charts for concrete strength maturity
  • Follow-up of inspection and test plans

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and listening skills, as well as a willingness to learn. Experience in quality control testing of construction material products is preferred but not essential.

A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential, as well as flexibility to work Monday to Saturday and shift work when required. You should also be able to work effectively with other teams based in metro locations.
