We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the school's buildings and grounds are well maintained and presented.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment by adhering to Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Attend training as appropriate, such as Working Safely at Heights and Test and Tagging.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, education support staff, students, parents, and contractors to achieve common goals.
  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, repairs of toilets, student lockers, fixtures and fittings, moving of furniture, and mowing of the school oval and garden beds.
  • Engage, manage, and liaise with contractors to attend to tasks that require registered tradespeople, ensuring all relevant requirements are met.
  • Carry out routine maintenance of the grounds, including gardens, recreation areas, oval, and hard courts, under the direction of the Business Manager or Principal.

  • Capacity to work and collaborate with others in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Possession of technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.
