Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and physically fit individual to join our Proactive Services team as a Cleaner and Trolley Collector. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our store and ensuring that trolleys are available for customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be required to complete specific cleaning tasks on a schedule, collect trolleys from the car park and surrounding areas, and assist with waste processing routines. You will also have the opportunity to work across different departments to deliver specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team room, and emptying bins.
  • Collect trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas.
  • Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and providing directions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Physical fitness to handle physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, including the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.
  • A good eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
