Heavy machinery maintenance expert sought for Railton site in Tasmania.

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and respond to breakdowns on various equipment, including hammer crushers, vertical roller mills, ball mills, pumps, and conveyor belts.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance activities with the team and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping during and after maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise small work groups as required and provide guidance where necessary.

Key qualifications include:

  • Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker trade qualification.
  • EWP, LF, Dogging and Rigging tickets highly desirable.
  • Experience working with computerized maintenance systems, including SAP.
  • Background in maintenance roles within heavy industry or mining.
  • Strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
