Our organization seeks an exceptional Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and manage account reconciliations
  • Prepare payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and liaise with external accountants as required
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
  • Manage prepayments and accruals, and ensure timely responses to financial queries
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail


Requirements:
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounts officer, with a solid understanding of accounting software and systems
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
