About this Role:

We work closely with veterinarians to provide high-quality care to patients. As a member of our emergency team, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and expert nursing care to patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures and surgeries
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners to provide updates on their pet's condition and treatment plan
  • Collaborate with other members of the veterinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a veterinary nurse, preferably in an emergency or critical care setting
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary medical procedures
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards both animals and their owners
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
