As a Quantitative Systematic Trader at Susquehanna, you will work closely with our trading, technology, and research teams to create innovative solutions that drive success.

Overview

The life cycle of a quant project begins with an idea. You will investigate this idea by immersing yourself in market data, leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming. Through your research, you may discover a new pattern that can transform into a trading signal. To assess its strength, you will run it through our back testing environment and carefully analyze its performance.

If the signal produces profitable results, you will work side-by-side with technologists to put it into production. Once it's embedded in our electronic trading strategies, you will actively monitor its real-time performance in the financial markets.

Your Role

We are seeking highly analytical problem-solvers with exceptional communication skills. As a Quantitative Systematic Trader, you will be responsible for:

  • Investigating ideas and developing new trading strategies using mathematical models and statistical analysis
  • Working with our trading and technology teams to implement and monitor these strategies in real-time
  • Analyzing data and identifying trends to inform future strategy development
