Mineral Resources is seeking a highly skilled Geometallurgy Projects Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and technical development for the ongoing management of spatially and geologically based predictive models to mitigate geometallurgical risks through operations and planning.

This role involves strong stakeholder engagement, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and overseeing deliverables and product predictions for our Lithium and Iron Ore Operations.

The Geometallurgy Projects Manager will report directly to our GM Strategic Planning and be based at our MinRes HQ Office in Osborne Park, with occasional site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source data, conduct analysis, and identify trends to support business unit decision making.
  • Develop predictive geometallurgy models and communicate outputs to relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the integration of geometallurgical analysis into the mine planning process to maximize value, streamline process variability, and reduce uncertainty.
  • Design and manage geometallurgical test work programs and deliver insights for future mining areas.
  • Identify, engage, and manage diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Process Engineering, or Geoscience.
  • Sound understanding of metalliferous processing technology and practices.
  • Proficient understanding of operational aspects relevant to geometallurgy.
  • Experience in developing flowsheets and determining predictive geometallurgy models.
  • Exposure to multiple operations and commodities.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
