About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Lead Gymnastics Instructor to join our team in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This is a full-time permanent role that offers a competitive salary of $73,150 per annum plus superannuation.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding, training, and mentoring participants to support their performance and enhance their skills. They will also develop and manage programs for both children and adults, fostering skills growth and motivating participants to improve, enjoy, and achieve.

Responsibilities include recruiting additional coaching staff as required and being responsible for the supervision of gymnasts each session, ensuring they are kept safe at all times.

Requirements
  • A valid Working with Children Check and willingness to undertake a criminal history check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Intermediate or advanced coaching accreditation with Gymnastics NSW or similar overseas qualification strongly preferred
  • AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
  • Coach Affiliation/Technical Membership
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience
