Community Outreach Coordinator Role

We are seeking a dynamic professional to develop and implement effective communication strategies that support the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects and programs.

About the Position

- Develop and execute community engagement strategies to facilitate project success.
- Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to deliver impactful community outreach initiatives.
- Create engaging content for diverse channels to enhance project outcomes.
- Manage customer and stakeholder issues and concerns effectively.
- Coordinate announcements and government correspondence with internal teams.

Key Skills and Qualifications

- Degree level qualification in communications, public relations or related field is preferred or substantial equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, and issue resolution, preferably in a large multi-disciplined organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to summarize complex information effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; able to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
- A strong alignment and commitment to values and behaviors that foster a constructive, high-performance culture.
- Experience in government engagement and/or working with government processes is highly desirable.
- Prior IAP2 training is a plus but not essential.
