Electrical Design Lead

As a senior electrical engineer, you will provide expertise in designing complex electrical systems for various projects.

About the Role

The role involves leading small to medium-sized design projects, ensuring best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines. Your key responsibility is to deliver high-quality designs that meet client requirements.

  • Design Leadership: Provide electrical design leadership on both single and multi-disciplinary projects, focusing on delivering optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Project Management: Manage small to medium-sized engineering design projects, ensuring effective and efficient delivery.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear communication with external clients and internal colleagues to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
  • Specialist expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation
  • 6 to 10+ years' experience in Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills
  • Capacity to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects
