Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to customers with queries regarding service and parts support, ensuring that our branch meets operational standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Upsell parts and potential service sales to customers.
  • Manage inventory control and warehouse systems to ensure efficient operations.
  • Work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines and targets.

Requirements

  • Current driving license (forklift license will be advantageous).
  • Intermediate computer skills specifically Microsoft suite and mainframe systems.
  • Sound working knowledge of earth moving equipment (strong mechanical aptitude will be advantageous).
  • Trade qualification/s will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and build strong working relationships.
  • Good understanding of how a service department operates.
  • Must understand the warranty guidelines and process.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Parts Sales.
  • Appropriate demeanor for communicating with customers at a senior level and providing a professional service.
  • Proven experience in inventory control and warehouse systems (will be advantageous).
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
  • Ability to upsell parts and potential service sales.
  • Well-developed numeracy, written and oral communication skills.
